Abstract

The rate, character and peculiarities of the vasovagal reactions (VVR) while application of neuroaxial anesthesia in 800 patients were analyzed. In 720 (90%) patients a spinal anesthesia was conducted, in 80 (10%) – catheterization of epidural space. On the stage of access to subdural/еpidural space before the anesthetic injection the VVR signs were noted in 67 (8.4%) patients, including hypotension - in 42 (62.7%), bradycardia- in 26 (38.8%), combination of bradycardia and hypotension - in 20 (29.8%), short-term loss of consciousness - in 3 (4.5%), generalized convulsions - in 1. Algorithm of the urgent medical help provision while the VVR occurrence is proposed.
