Abstract

The risk factors were analyzed for pancreatitis occurrence after performance of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCHPG) in 178 patients, in whom endoscopic transpapillary interventions were accomplished. In accordance to the investigation there was established, that diameter of common biliary duct constitute the independent predictor of the post-ERCHPG pancreatitis occurrence. The form and type of the duodenal papilla magna cannot serve as predictors of the amylase activity rising in the blood serum after performance of transpapillary endoscopic interventions, but they must be taken into account while choosing the duodenal papilla magna canulation procedure.
